Playful, uplifting and stylish, the photography of Peechaya Burroughs reveals strong influences from her time working internationally as a graphic designer. Her photographs have a clean and graphic aesthetic, using simplified forms and maintaining a largely minimalist, monochrome palette spiked with pops of vibrant colour.

 

Deeply inspired by childhood memory and the quirky imaginations of children, Burroughs’ witty photography exudes “a little touch of everyday optimism”.

 

After receiving a B.A. in Fine Arts (majoring in Communication Design) from Bangkok University, Burroughs went on to work at various prestigious graphic design houses and advertising agencies, including a worldwide Japanese advertising company. She furthered her education with a Diploma in Website Production and Management at TAFE Sydney Institute.
